Tim is a multi-award-winning composer/lyricist based in the UK, represented by The Caroline Underwood Agency. (www.thecarolineunderwoodagency.com) While the bulk of his professional composition is in projects for theatre, Tim also works as an orchestrator and arranger across pop, classical and film.

Some of his musical theatre shows include:

Cable Street. A new musical that Tim has been writing with Alex Kanefsky since 2018, and which was commissioned by 10to4 Productions in 2020. The show has recently opened its a sell-out run at Southwark Playhouse and is returning in 2026.

The Jingleclaw. A family musical and the first commission from the new musicals department at Birmingham Hippodrome. 2024-25.

Unfortunate: the Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch has been steadily growing in size its Edinburgh debut in 2019. Following a mid-scale tour in 2022, the show is currently touring the UK in a scaled-up version following a London run in 2023. Cast recordings are available on Spotify. The show is playing at The Lowry through 2025-26.

Help! We Are Still Alive played at Seven Dials Playhouse in Autumn 2022, produced by The Grey Area Theatre. A cast EP is available on Spotify.

Stay Awake, Jake which has had several performances, including the S&S Award 2014 with Norman Bowman, VAULT Festival 2016 with Jamie Muscato and Southwark Playhouse 2020 (livestresam) with Ahmed Hamad, who also recorded the cast album.

Projects in development include Music and Freedom with Grace Taylor, which was showcased at BEAM 2023 (Oxford Playhouse) and Shipton which was showcased at BEAM 2021 (Park Theatre).

Tim was shortlisted for the Stiles + Drewe Best New Song Prize in 2016 and held a sold-out revue of his songs at Brasserie Zedel in 2017.
